Peanut is a common nut widely grown in China; it can be made into delicious dishes or pressed for oil. Peanut pods grow at the roots of the plant, so harvested peanuts carry some soil and peanut vines. Manually removing these impurities from peanuts takes a great deal of labor and time. Purchasing an automated vibrating screen for screening delivers good results and high output.

The linear vibrating screen is driven by dual vibration motors. When the two motors rotate synchronously in opposite directions, the exciting forces generated by the eccentric blocks cancel each other out in the direction parallel to the motor axes, and superimpose into a resultant force in the direction perpendicular to the motor axes, so the motion trajectory of the screening machine is a straight line. The two motor shafts are inclined at an angle relative to the screen surface. Under the combined action of the exciting force and the material's own gravity, the material moves forward on the screen surface in a jumping linear motion, thereby achieving the screening and sorting of the material.

Soil particles in peanuts are smaller than the peanut pods, so a screen mesh with apertures smaller than the peanuts can be used. After screening by the linear vibrating screen, the oversize fraction is the peanuts and the undersize fraction is the soil. Peanuts freed of soil and other impurities are clean, reasonably priced and convenient to eat.

The linear vibrating screen offers significant advantages for peanut screening:

1. Simple structure, easy installation and operation.

2. Large output, low energy consumption and low cost.

3. Automatic discharge of material, enabling continuous operation.

4. Can be used with single or multiple screen decks - convenient and flexible.

5. Good sealing, no powder flying, environmentally friendly and hygienic.
